Primary Industries was founded in 1970 and operates the only abattoir in Singapore. BioKube Asia Pacific with a local partner supplied six Saturn XL tanks, where two of the tanks were converted to buffer chambers due to a space constrain, and the clarifier was substituted by a drum filter. The challenge in cleaning wastewater from a slaughterhouse process, was the extremely  high BOD, COD, TSS & TDS contents.
