Installation of BioKube small systems.

BioKube small wastewater systems for single houses are very small in size.
BioKube Pluto for a single house is Ø 95 cm.
BioKube Venus for a single house is Ø 105 cm.
BioKube Mars for up to 50 people is only Ø 190 cm.

What components go into a BioKube system?

3 main components go into a BioKube system

  • Pre-settlment tank is always needed.
  • BioKube system
  • After treatment (UV or chlorine typically) if the water is to be reused.

The picture below show the main components at a system under installation in Cypress where there is a big demand for reuse of the treated water. BioKube Venus equiped for reuse of treated water - www.jpg

1. The pre-settlement tank.
The pre-settlement tank is the key to a well functioning cleaning process. Sludge should be retained from entering the cleaning units.
In small systems the pre-settlement tank is typically emptied once a year.
For a single house system, the pre-settlment tank shouls be at least 2 m3.

The water flowes from the pre settlement tank to the built in buffetank in the bottum of the Venus. The water will normally simply gravitate from the pre-settlement tank to the cleaning unit.

The pre-settlement tank in the picture is locally built. In many countries the pre-settlment tank will be delivered finished.

2.  BioKube system.
The BioKube in the picture is a Venus for a single house.
To keep the system free from biologerical sludge, water will at regular intervals with a airlift pump be pumped back to the pre-settlment tank.

3. Storrage tank and after cleaning.
If the treated water is to be reused then the cleaned water will normally be led to a storrage tank. If water is not used there is a simmple overflow from the storrage tank.
